Underbelt, hook and loop

The underbelt is the solution for up and down running shooter belts. Normally attached to the trousers belt loops, the underbelt firstly keeps the trousers on, but also provides the necessary support for the outer equipment belt with hooked velcro on the inside.

We first made underbelts from polyamide webbing, but they were always too thick. Product development led to the use of three-layer polyester nylon, which certainly outlasts the user’s waist. The loop side of hook and loop goes all the way around and the 15cm tail hook ensures adjustability all the way around and certainly a good grip. This belt only needs to be adjusted twice a day, when putting it on in the morning and when taken off in the evening.

These belts have been in daily use for 2 months and about 15 days in active combat training. No signs of wear. Debris is collected by the velcro, so there may be an occasional need for cleaning, depending on how deep in the coniferous forest you are.
