The Laajo socks are made from a soft, thick merino wool knit throughout. The longer than normal shaft stays up well and reaches well over the leg of, for example, layered trousers. Two lighter stripes are knitted on the arm.

The socks have a thick merino wool terry sole, which softens the footsteps and protects the feet from the cold coming from the ground in winter. The base of the shaft reaches very high, keeping the ankles and legs warm. The stem is also flexible and keeps the socks in place.

The socks are at their best as a traditional boot sock. However, you can also fit a pair of socks underneath the strong socks, for example, if you need extra warmth for your feet in hard frosts.

Care instructions

We recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use.
for merino socks, airing is often sufficient careful washing at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius.
use the lightest possible spin cycle.
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product.
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents.
do not use tumble dryers or drying programmes.

please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size.
use a lint remover – merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing.
