When you want to operate silently, or in such loud noise that your own voice cannot carry, each operator’s markings play an essential role in moving the information and the snapshot forward.
Competence patches can be used to indicate one’s role or even the contents of a rucksack or any container at hand.
EOD, or Explosive Ordnance Disposal, is one of those special jobs. The skills of EOD professionals are highly respected, because only few of us want to go poking around and dismantling explosives.
There is the traditional Ranger green with black lettering, but also the white embroidery that is perfect for low-light work – the sign is visible at close range in low light, but doesn’t glow all the way to the neighbour like fluorescent signs.

The patches are 9*5cm in size, with a hook velcro on the back, so they stick to the hook side on clothes and backpacks like a tick to your groin.
Made in Finland – these patches are embroidered in a small workshop in a small Finnish town.
